The Vitamix 7500 blender is very powerful, professional-grade countertop blender that can handle almost any blending task. With this blender, you can prepare soups, crush ice and frozen fruit, grind nuts or coffee, mix batters, or make refreshing juices or smoothies. Moreover, the Vitamix 7500 review ratings and customer feedback is amazing.
This blender does everything you could ever ask and then more than you could ever imagine. Built like a tank and very powerful, emulsifies basically anything you put inside it. Make hot soup in minutes with all fresh, natural and raw ingredients. Motor is so powerful, your soup comes out hot from nothing more than the friction of the blades (takes 5-6 minutes).
In addition, Vitamix 7500 is part of the Classic (G) or Legacy series and the second best within the series. Moreover, the Vitamix 7500 is one of the more popular Vitamix blenders and wins the best overall value category. Amongst customers, it receives rave reviews and is highly recommended.
A lot of people compare the Vitamix 7500 blender to either the Vitamix 750 Professional Series blender or the Vitamix 5200 blender. Moreover, the Vitamix 7500 is shorter than the more popular Vitamix 5200 blender (likely due to the lower price point). Similarly, the Vitamix 750 Pro Series is the premium choice. Power and Base Unit
The Vitamix 7500 blender is extremely powerful with its 2.2 horsepower motor. Furthermore, the blades spin at an impressive 37,000 rpms. Even though Vitamix 7500 powerful motor, it is fairly quiet in comparison to other blenders.
In addition, it operates on 1,640 watts creating a lot of power to crush even the toughest ingredients. In fact, the high velocity and power creates enough friction to heat up the soup as it’s being blended.
The motor is a variable speed motor which is controlled by a dial. Keep in mind it is important to make sure to turn on low then crank up the motor, turn down the motor, then turn off. Doing this ensures not to burn out your Vitamix 7500 blender. Professional kitchens teach this as a golden rule.
Lastly, the Vitamix 7500 uses only 110 volts. Therefore, do not use a 220v or it will damage the blender. Be sure to check your outlet before using so you do not damage your Vitamix 7500. If you are in Europe, the outlets are 220 volts whereas the United States is mostly 110 volts.
|Country||Max Outlet Volts|
|United States||110 volts|
Overall, the Vitamix 7500 motor is superior to most blenders with its 2.2 horsepower motor and cooling system. Furthermore, there is a thermal protection feature that shuts off the system if the motor gets overloaded.
Blades and System
|Vitamix 7500 Blade System||Description|
|Material:||Aircraft-grade industrial steel|
|Attachment Type:||Fixed or Non-Removable|
|Blade Type:||Wet blade included|
Vitamix 7500 blender comes with hardened stainless-steel blades. Furthermore, the blades are laser-cut for precision and aircraft-grade industrial steel. To allow for maximum efficiency, the Vitamix 7500 blades measure 4 inches in diameter.
Please note that older Vitamix blenders come with smaller blades. Keep this in mind if you are buying a used Vitamix and make sure to check the details
Fixed & Non-removable
Another important distinction is the Vitamix 7500 blades are fixed and not removable. The advantage of a non-removable blade is it makes it easier to clean. A disadvantage is that to replace them or purchase accessory blades, you’ll have to buy a new container.
Wet & Dry Blades
Secondly, the Vitamix 7500 blender includes a wet blade assembly with the container. Thus, the blender works best with some liquid or wet ingredients like smoothies, nut butter, soups, etc.
In contrast, dry blades work well with flour. However, the Vitamix 7500 blender blade system handles many difficult tasks like dough for bread or cookies. If you need, you can purchase Vitamix 7500 dry blades separately as an accessory.
Another blade accessory for the Vitamix 7500 is the Aer Disc Container. Liquid ingredients are pulled through small holes in the spinning disc, aerating and emulsifying them. In addition, firmer ingredients like ice, fruit, and herbs are agitated but not puréed.
Most importantly, the blades in combination with the powerful motor are designed to handle the toughest ingredients from nuts to frozen fruit. Keep in mind that no extra blades come with the Vitamix 7500. Contrastingly, the Vitamix 5200 blender comes with an extra container with different blades to chop nuts or make flour. However, there are several accessory blades to buy.
Overall, the blades and assembly system of the Vitamix 7500 is unmatched. In fact, customers love the blade system and how well it works for almost any blending task.
|Max Capacity:||64 ounces or 2 liters|
|Material:||BPA-free Tritan Plastic|
|Height:||10.1 inches high|
|Weight:||2 pounds 10 ounces|
|Measurements:||Ounce and cup lines|
Another important element is the container of the Vitamix 7500. The container holds 64 ounces (2 liters), making medium to large batches a breeze.
In addition, the Vitamix 7500 blender comes with a modern scratch-resistant container. The BPA-free container is made of Easterman Tritan Copolyster that will last for many years. This harden plastic is better material than glass blender jars, as glass is not safe at high vibrations and easily breakable.
Furthermore, the 7500 Vitamix comes with a low profile container and considered a lower profile blender. This means the height of the container is only 10.1 inches high versus the classic standard size of 13.4 inches high.
As a result, the Vitamix 7500 container only weighs 2.63 pounds. In addition, the shorter low profile container allows the blender to fit under the average kitchen cabinet or inside.
Next, the Vitamix 7500 container has clear, easy to read measurement markings. Thus, it is simple to add ingredients without the need of measuring cups. The sides are see through, enabling you too easily see the markings. It has both cup and ounce measurement markings. Even the lid plug has a 2 ounce measurement line.
Furthermore, the design of the container allows for maximum efficiency, creating a powerful vortex to pull the ingredients down through the blades and back up the sides of the container. Moreover, the top of the container is wide and the narrows at the base.
Another, nice feature is the ability to use a tamper. The lid of the blender has a removable plug to use the tamper without needing to remove the lid while blending. A tamper allows you to push down ingredients. Thereby removing air pockets that are created when blending. In addition, the Vitamix 7500 has a comfortable, soft-grip handle is easy to hold while pouring or using the tamper.
Container Cleaning and Care
Lastly, the Vitamix 7500 container is easy to clean. The Tritan plastic is specifically designed and allows for ingredients not to stick to the side of the container. Moreover, it is easy self-cleaning with a drop of dish soap and warm water; just run on High for 30 seconds. However, do not put the container, lid, or tamper in the dishwasher or risk warping the plastic.
Programs & Speed Settings
The Vitamix 7500 blender is easy to use and operate. For instance, the base unit has 2 toggle switches. One for power (on/off) and another for the pulse function.
In-between the two toggles is the variable speed dial that allows for 10 different speeds (1 low and 10 high). These speeds can be changed while the blender is in use. In other words, you don’t need to turn off the blender to change speeds.
Lastly, there is no pre-set program feature on this blender. This means you have to blend everything manually. However, the 10 speed controls gives you precision control while blending and to add various textures. For example, you can use the low speed to chop up ingredients. Contrastingly, if you want a smooth consistency and texture, blend at high speeds.
Functionality & Blending Tasks
Most importantly, the Vitamix 7500 blender is one of the most versatile blenders for home use. The functionality and versatility of this blender is superior to most. Here are just a few uses for the Vitamix 7500:
Make steaming-hot soup without a stove—in under 10 minutes. The friction from the blades brings soup to serving temperature, right in the container.
You don’t need to worry about crushing ice or frozen fruit. You’ll easily be able to crush ice for margaritas, daiquiris, or other drinks. In addition, create desserts with the high speed setting to blender ice cream, fruit sorbet and snow cones in seconds.
Smoothies and Juices
As with the best Vitamix Blenders, the Vitamix 7500 masterfully blends smoothies or milkshakes from any raw vegetables or fruits. For instance, blending at high speeds will pulverize blueberry skins, blackberry seeds, and even chia seeds to your shake or smoothie. There won’t be any hint of seeds or grainy texture. You will never have a shake that is so smooth and airy.
The wet blade of the Vitamix 7500 is great for grinding nuts, coffee beans, and grains. Moreover, it quickly and easily mixes batter or dough for pizza, pancakes, waffles, cookies, muffins, crepes, and cakes. However, for mixing dry ingredients like flour the dry blade is even better, so it may make sense to purchase the accessory.
Whether you want a thick or thinner puree, the Vitamix 7500 will give you the results you desire. This blender can easily puree hardy vegetables, dates, or chickpeas. For example, many people use this blender for pureeing baby foods. Make batches of nutritious homemade baby food in seconds in the 7500 blender.
The Vitamix 7500 makes chopping a breeze. There are two ways to chop by either the pulse function or using a low speed setting. Moreover, the 10-speed control allows you to get the consistency you desire whether it is chunky salsa or a smooth chip dip.
Vitamix 7500 Warranty
Most importantly, the Vitamix 7500 blender is backed with a generous 7-year warranty. Moreover, the Vitamix warranty coverage is amazing. For example, it covers not only parts and labor but also round trip shipping costs for all repairs.
What is covered in the Vitamix 7500 warranty? Vita-Mix warrants the blender motor base, blades, and any containers that fails within 7 years from the purchase date. In addition, it covers any defect in material, workmanship, or as a result of normal wear and tear from ordinary household use.
Vita-Mix will, within 30 days of receipt of the returned product, repair the failed Machine or component part of the Machine free of charge.
Vitamix is in the USA and has been around since 1949. It is one of the premium blender brands both commercially and in homes.

Complaints about black teflon flakes Vitamix 7500 Blender
There are a lot of people upset by these “black teflon flakes” that are being ingested. I did the flake test and I didn’t find any. However, in my opinion, we breathe in a lot more fumes and ingest a lot worse than a few little teflon flakes. I’m a health conscious person, but I don’t find this to be so worrisome that I can’t sleep. If a teflon flake getting in your smoothie is going to upset you, then you should probably look elsewhere. However, I never found one on this model.
